Change of plan
My plans to go solo have now changed to duo, with a possibility of changing again to trio
My friend and corpmate Zama got all fired up when he read this and Star Defenders Blog, so much so that he has asked to join me on my first wormhole adventure, and has intimated that our CEO DeltaW7 might also want to come along.
That has yet to be confirmed.
I will still be taking my alts and all related equipment along, so we should have a strong little team for this first venture into the unknown regions of EVE.

Real life commitments to work have calmed down now, and in another four days I will have trained Anchoring to level 5, and
Starbase Defence management to at least level 3.
Zama has been helping me mine ice to cut down on fuel costs, so we will be able to spend a good long time in our new home, even though I have chosen to run with a large POS.
Now it is time to take stock of what we have, and what we still need to get. It would be a real pain to realise after the wormhole has closed that we have forgotten some vital piece of equipment.
Almost Ready
Well everything is going according to plan at the moment, the Orca is out of the oven and fully fitted, battleships and battlecruisers are also built and kitted out, along with the salvager and scanning covops.
All POS equipment has been bought, including the weapons and ammunition.
POS fuel still needs to be gathered together, and I am mining ice to try and keep that cost down to an acceptable level.
Skill training is plodding on as per usual, and a couple of my characters will soon have gas harvesting and salvaging at the required levels.

I had hoped to be ready for this week but real life, in the way of work is intruding on my game time.
Next weekend is a long weekend for us here in South Africa, but I am required to work because one of my clients has chosen that particular weekend to move offices.
This means that instead of playing EVE, I will be setting up the servers and computers for his employees. I mustn’t complain though, as it is the money I earn at my job that makes it possible for me to afford EVE in the first place.
Also it gives my characters more time to get their skills up to a level that will make me feel safer.
I am under no delusions about the safety of Wormhole Space.
